Thanks to all who completed the walk on such a beautiful day, what a great day all the dogs had fun and a well earned rest & treats half way round after a quick drink were off again.
The weather was dry and warm, the walk was two and a half hrs duration around Beckhamton gallops near Avebury.
I would like to thank every one who join us on the walk.
4 people raised £744 in aid of the Gurkha Welfare Trust, thank you to all concerned for the effort and support shown for the worthy cause.

Oscar, one of our dogs, moved to Birmingham recently and went to the German Shepherd Dog Club. He had to sit an entry test to grade his standard to verify what class he would join. He was in the top class with us! Oscar, owned by Jan, got 100% and went to the big boys' class.
Well done to Oscar and Jan who worked hard when they were with us. We are very proud of you both. All the best from Spire Dog Club. |

Dog boarding:-
Going on holiday? Need your dog caring for? If the kennels are not the option for you, then allow your dog to come and live with me. Your dog will join me and my dogs at home enjoying the comforts as well as having the opportunity to socialise, play, and walk with other dogs. No dog enjoys being separated from its owner, but we will make their stay as pleasant and happy as we can. |
 |
Pet Home visits:-
If you want us to take care of your pet at home we can. From cats to fish to terrapins we’ll look after your pets for you while you’re away, in the comfort of their own home. So call and we can start to deal with your pets specific requirements. |

Every year we have our club christmas meal in January (when all the rush and busy times are out of the way)! Louise would like to thank all the members for coming and to thank them all for her beautiful flowers and lovely card.
The club would like to welcome Zoe. Zoe will be helping out at the club training and helping members. Zoe is currently still learning and doing very well, she has already passed her first course with distinction.....well done! And is currently working through her second course......lets hope she does just as well!
As the year moves closer and closer to the summer months (roll on the warm weather) we will be looking forward to moving the classes outside where there are more distractions, smells, sights and sounds for your pups to overcome whilst training so keep up the hard work with them. |

Sat just gone, Pat and I were at the old town festival where Eastcott vets sponsor the dog show that was held up there. Pat and I spend our time working, talking to the dog owners giving them some help and advice regarding any training issues they may have with their dog.
Some of our members entered a few of the fun show classes for a bit of fun and experience. |
 |
Several members from our club, Pat , myself, Jo, Sheila and Jan all went on a heelwork to music course and passing with Merits and distinctions.
