The training club was originally founded in 1993 by Pat Oborn and has continued to strengthen over the years. Pat has also been running training sessions in Swindon since 1979 and has now gained 44 years’ experience of training dogs of all shapes and sizes, whilst conquering many different training issues that she has been faced with over the years. She has certificates for dog training and also bred German Shepherd dogs and Welsh Springers.
Successfully ran by Pat and her business partner Louise Eggleton, they can continue to provide dog training ‘the kind way’ (clicker training).
Louise has successfully passed her courses in intermediate canine behaviour and passing her tasks in order for the club to become a member of the APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers- promoting the kind way of training). Pat and Louise has also attended animal first aid courses.
In addition to providing dog training, we also offer the following services:
Dog walking service;
Micro chipping;
Home visits (which involves training your dog ready for club and also to resolve any problems you may well have at home with your pet).
Dog Boarding
Going on holiday? Need your dog caring for? If the kennels are not the option for you, then allow your dog to come and live with me. Your dog will join me and my dogs at home enjoying the comforts as well as having the opportunity to socialise, play, and walk with other dogs. No dog enjoys being separated from its owner, but we will make their stay as pleasant and happy as we can.
Pet Home Visits
If you want us to take care of your pet at home we can. From cats to fish to terrapins we’ll look after your pets for you while you’re away, in the comfort of their own home. So call and we can start to deal with your pets specific requirements.
